Biography

The Founder/President of Canadian UAVs (2015), Sean, is a commercial helicopter and private fixed-wing pilot with 17 years in the aviation industry and over 10 years in the UAV segment. Canadian UAVs has focused on BVLOS operations in Canada in partnership with Transport Canada, with almost a decade of test and evaluation operations validating its proprietary Detect and Avoid System called Sparrowhawk. Currently, the only approved Detect and Avoid system in Canada, Sparrowhawk, is the pathway to BVLOS operations throughout the national airspace. CUAVs will fly more than 8,000 BVLOS commercial and military operations in Canada in 2025 while supporting customers in the US and Europe.
