In 2022, the AEAC Board of Directors introduced a new annual industry award to recognize the accomplishments of Canadian women in our rapidly emerging and evolving commercial RPAS/drone sector.
The first-ever recipient of the AEAC Ellevatus Award was Anne-Sophie Riopel-Bouvier. Anne-Sophie was recognized for her contributions to advance the RPAS industry through roles such as co-founder, Chief Pilot, and flight instructor at an industry-leading RPAS company, as a member of our Women in Drones Committee, and her work to help launch and lead the AEAC Flight Safety Committee.
We are excited to invite the RPAS community to nominate outstanding women for this year’s AEAC Ellevatus Award. This is an opportunity to shine a light on the incredible talent and leadership of women working in the commercial drone space in Canada.
Your nominations play a crucial role in identifying these exceptional individuals, and we invite you to be part of this celebration. Let’s come together to recognize and applaud the achievements of these remarkable women who inspire and shape the future of the drone industry.
