Biography

Steve has over 25 years experience in the innovation and environmental sectors and 10+ years as a C-suite executive, with proven success in business operations, global strategic partnerships, and organizational growth. As Chief Operating Officer of Altomaxx Technologies, Steve has worked hard building a team that represent some of the best in the world in the drone service sector. Co-founding the company in Newfoundland and Labrador, Altomaxx has grown their expansion with 4 offices across Canada, and offices in Denmark, Ireland and Abu Dhabi and currently looking at expansion to Guyana. Under Steve’s leadership Altomaxx was able to become the first global certification body for ISO 21384-3 Unmanned Flight through the Standards Council of Canada and to date, Altomaxx’s audit team have done audits here in Canada as well as the Middle East, Central America, Africa, and Europe. Steve was recognized as a Top50 Executive in 2025 from Atlantic Business Magazine and in 2024 & 2025 from the Ontario Premier Awards for Leadership in Innovation & Technology & STEM
