Jason Rule

Biography

Jason Rule is the Technical Team Lead, RPAS Flight Operations with the Strategy and Emerging Techologies (SET) Branch within Civil Aviation at Transport Canada‎. His team are the ones you need to convince that you can fly safely before proceeding. Jason’s youth and education were all focused around aviation—both traditional and model aircraft. Jason worked as a pilot in the industry before joining Transport Canada in 2009. As the RPAS industry grew, Jason’s focus within Transport Canada became more and more RPAS- focused, and 8 years ago, Jason was fully tasked to support the RPAS division—a role that childhood Jason would not have imagined possible!
