Biographie

As a transportation planner, aerospace engineer, and Executive Director of Grey Jay, Elham Boozarjomehri is a pioneer in integrating Advanced Air Mobility into Canadian transportation planning frameworks. Her work provides municipal leaders, regional authorities, and Indigenous communities with the analytical models and practical tools needed to evaluate, plan, and actively deploy AAM—from zero-emission regional aircraft to drone networks—as a seamless extension of their public transit, ferry, and road networks.

Using complex spatial modeling, trip-distribution algorithms, and economic demand analysis, she builds actionable strategies that support communities high-level master plans and operational reality. Her work spans transit Urban Air Mobility (UAM) forecasting for Metro Vancouver as well as regional public fleet sizing models.

Beyond long-term planning, Elham directly support communities on how to establish and own their own AAM infrastructure. A prime example is her work with Montana First Nation, where she is helping lay the groundwork for a community-led drone service designed for delivery and wildfire monitoring. She equips local leadership with the operational, technical, and regulatory frameworks required to start, govern, and maintain their own drone and air mobility services. By combining rigorous data modeling with direct execution strategies, Elham empowers communities to not only plan for the future of air mobility, but to build, own, and operate it as vital public infrastructure.
