Biography

Carlos Rodriguez is a Systems Engineer at NAV CANADA with the RPAS Traffic Management team working on the NAV Drone application. Carlos joined the company 3 years ago, initially supporting the development of new features in the application and providing technical support to the NAV CANADA operations team with regards to RPAS. Prior to that, Carlos worked for 12 years at Pratt & Whitney Canada in a variety of roles ranging from altitude testing to control systems engineering of turboshaft and turbo prop engines, specializing in areas such as requirements definition for embedded systems, validation & verification of control system software, hardware in-the-loop testing, and customer support. Carlos is an aviation and space enthusiast and enjoys related activities involving aircraft, rocketry, space exploration, and robotics.
